In neuroscience, a nexus is a binding point, a center where connections meet. In the atelier, The Nexus  is the meeting point between chaotic art and rigid structure.

Commanding in presence yet exacting in scale, this architectural handbag features a winged trapeze silhouette that extends beyond the body, creating a visual dominance that defies its profile. The chaotic branching of the Neuro-Origin art panel is contained within a strict perimeter of High-Polish Gold Studs, offering a visual metaphor for controlled chaos.

It is not a bag for carrying the world. It is a vessel for carrying the essential. A strict edit for the focused mind.

Helena Barbagelata is a multidisciplinary artist, fashion model, researcher and activist. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Salamanca.

Throughout her career, she has received several artistic, literary and scientific awards from the Onassis Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Greek Government, Università di Trieste, Universitat de València, Universitat de Barcelona, Premio Internazionale di Poesia e Teatro Castello di Duino, among others.
